21,

DNA is one of the many things Harry Butler has been working on over the years with the first Issue being released in October 1979. He still sells all of the Issues and they can be ordered from

www.ozmusicbooks.com

Thank you goes to Harry for allowing us to post the following information from his site listing the issues of DNA over its history.

We will have all 108 Issues released to date, listed at some point in the future. The first 10 are up.

..................................................................

DNA - Edited (& mostly written) by Harry Butler, and self published as an A4 sized photocopied magazine. "DNA" is Australia's longest lasting music fanzine, which has been attempting to document the life and times of underground and alternative bands in Adelaide and South Australia. Over the years many other Australian bands have also covered (non-Adelaide bands have their home town in brackets). Regularly includes detailed listings of lineups, recording sessions and releases for selected artists, plus sordid local gossip and occasional bad jokes. Live reviews come with complete set lists of songs performed. No pictures, just lots of typed out words, and very messy looking covers. This publication is more concerned with its contents than its appearance. Note most of the cover prices shown on the images should be ignored, and merely looked upon as proof that photocopying 25 years ago was a lot cheaper
